Life's Song

Any day can be much brighter,
Any night seem not so long
When the heart is filled with music
And the living with a song.
Any task seems not so dreary,
Any right must conquer wrong
When the melody of loving
Is the soul's resounding song.
Any heart can beat more gladly,
Any weakness be made strong
When the Lord provides the music
And the beauty of life's song.

Connie, another good poem! What is in the heart is what counts and what is displayed in our lives. Thank God, we can keep good things in our heart and the music will be uplifting and a blessing to everyone we meet.

I have found that music sooths my soul whenever I am in need of comfort.
The music of God speaking within me when I am calm and quiet and ready to pay attention allows my heart to be rejeuvenated and filled once again with HIM.
When I am in tune with God's will for me it is then that I am truly able to hear the beautiful music HE provides for my listening pleasure.

I like your two verses, "Any weakness made strong" and your thought-provoking words, "Any right must conquer wrong." Your beautiful poem put life's song into perspective with, "When the Lord provides the music." I love reading your poems!
